TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice 2023
We’ve got some amazing news to kick off our mid summer round-up – Monk Park Farm has been announced as a 2023 Travellers’ Choice award winner!
The award recognises businesses that have received consistently great customer ratings on TripAdvisor. It puts us in the top 10 per cent of attractions worldwide – which is utterly amazing!
Our whole team work so hard to offer a fantastic day out to all our guests, so receiving this award makes everyone of us so proud.

Calf Feeding
Meet Blu, Clover, Fawn and Nelly! We adopted these four gorgeous calves at the beginning of July and are inviting everyone to come and help us feed them. Bottle feeding takes place twice a day so head on down to the farm and join in the fun!
Foam Parties
We cannot tell you how amazing these are! Taking place every day at 3pm and included in the entry price, our foam parties have been a huge hit with visitors of all ages since we launched them at the start of the summer. Come join in the fun – just don’t forget your bathers and towel!
The Thirsk & Sowerby Show
What a fantastic day we had at the Thirsk & Sowerby Show earlier this month. Monk Park Farm was delighted to be a sponsor of this wonderful community event, and members of our team also volunteered on the day. Taking place every year, the show features food and drink stalls, games, a funfair and music.
Birthday Parties
Did you know you can throw your very own birthday party at Monk Park Farm?
Our brand new party room is a great space to celebrate with friends and family. We can provide food if you wish, and you’ll also get a birthday present, party bags, party host, a discount in our shop and lots more. Plus, to top it all off, we’ll give you full access to the farm for the day.

Peter Wright – The Yorkshire Vet Book Signing
We welcomed our good friend and Monk Park Farm vet Peter Wright – aka The Yorkshire Vet – to sign copies of his new book ‘The Tales and Tails of a Yorkshire Vet’. It’s always a pleasure to see Peter and he had a fabulous day meeting all our visitors.
New Milkshakes
How yummy do our new milkshakes look? Made using three scoops of delicious ice cream, coated in sauce and topped with a tasty treat, these extra thick milkshakes are the standout stars of our summer menu. And with three tempting flavours to choose from – Chocolate Heaven, Strawberry Delight and Vanilla Dream – the only question is: Which one to try first?
Shop Revamp
We’re really chuffed with the recent makeover we’ve given our Ice Cream and Gift Shop! Out have gone the tacky shelving, mismatched wood and exposed kitchen units, and in have come a proper kitchen, wall plants and neon lights.
It’s the perfect place to showcase all the quality products we have on offer, so do make time to have a browse!

We’ve had a fabulous time at the farm this summer – and with the sun making more of an appearance, we’re looking forward to lots more fun before the start of the school term.
