Rabbits are gentle, sociable animals and a favourite with visitors of all ages.
At Monk Park Farm, you can meet a variety of breeds including Lionhead, Lop, and Rex rabbits, each with their own unique look and personality!
Lionhead rabbits are easy to spot with their fluffy manes, just like a little lion.
Lop rabbits have long, floppy ears and a calm, friendly nature.
Rex rabbits are known for their super-soft, velvety fur that feels a bit like plush velvet.
Rabbits love to dig, hop, and explore, and they enjoy quiet time as much as play.
They communicate using gentle thumps, nose nudges, and even soft grunts or purring (yes, rabbits purr by gently grinding their teeth when happy!).

They mainly eat hay, fresh veggies, and rabbit pellets, and they need plenty of space to hop about and stay active.
Come and meet our lovely rabbits in the petting barn – they might just be having a snack, grooming each other, or stretched out enjoying a snooze in the sunshine!
