Our opening hours change slightly throughout the year, depending on term time, school holidays and special events.
Please note: Last admission is 2 hours before closing.
Term Time (Friday – Monday):
10:00am – 3:00pm
School Holidays & Event Days:
Peak: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Off-Peak: 10:00am – 4:00pm
We also have seasonal closures in November while we transform the farm for The Great Yorkshire Christmas, and then a short winter break after Christmas, reopening again in late February.

We aim to provide a relaxed, stress-free and enjoyable environment for both our visitors and animals and therefore we restrict the number of visitors on the Park each day.
Weekends and School Holidays are especially popular so please book online to avoid disappointment.
Midweek visitors can usually buy tickets on arrival but if you’re travelling a long way we would still advise pre-booking, especially if the sun is shining!
All under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Sorry, no dogs are allowed on the Park.

Does the discount apply to event tickets?
Yes. The discount applies to eligible tickets for visits taking place between 25th June and 1st September 2026, including event tickets where applicable.
Can I use the code more than once?
Yes. There is no limit to how many times the code can be used during the promotional period, subject to availability.
What if I forget to enter the code when booking?
Unfortunately, discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. Please ensure you enter the code GBDO26 during checkout before completing your purchase.
Can I use the code when booking over the phone or at the gate?
No. The discount is available for online bookings only and must be applied during the online checkout process.
I’ve already booked. Can I receive the discount retrospectively?
Unfortunately not. Bookings made before the introduction of the scheme are not eligible for retrospective discounts or partial refunds.
Can I cancel and rebook my tickets using the discount code?
No. The discount is intended for eligible bookings made during the promotional period and cannot be applied retrospectively to existing bookings.
I’ve already booked and need to move my visit date. Can I add the discount?
If your original booking was made before the scheme was introduced, the discount cannot be added retrospectively when transferring your booking.
What happens if I book using the discount code and later move my visit to a date after 1st September 2026?
The discount only applies to visits taking place between 25th June and 1st September 2026. If your booking is transferred outside of this period, the discounted amount will need to be paid.
I’ve bought tickets during the promotion period for a future event after 1st September 2026. Do I qualify?
No. Eligibility is based on the date of your visit, not the date you purchased your tickets.
Can I use the discount with another promotional offer or discount code?
No. The Great British Summer Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, voucher or promotional code unless specifically stated otherwise.
Is there a limit to how many tickets I can purchase?
No. The discount can be used on eligible bookings throughout the promotional period, subject to availability.
