Meet the Micro Pigs at Monk Park Farm

Micro pigs, also known as miniature pigs, are small breeds of domestic pig that have been selectively bred to be smaller in size.

Despite their name, micro pigs can still grow to be quite sturdy – but they’re much smaller than standard farm pigs.

They are highly intelligent, curious, and love to root around and explore.

Just like dogs, they can even be trained to follow commands, walk on a lead, and respond to their name – Just like our Penny!

Micro pigs are very social and enjoy lots of interaction and enrichment.

They make a variety of sounds – grunts, oinks, and squeals – to communicate how they’re feeling. Can you hear them talking to you?

Their diet includes pig pellets, fresh vegetables, and the occasional fruit treat, but it’s important not to overfeed them – they do love their food!

Our micro pigs at Monk Park Farm love attention, so don’t be surprised if they trot over to say hello or roll over for a belly rub!
